Dde Biotin Azide Plus is a PEG compound with both terminal biotin and azide functional groups, as well as a hydrazine-cleavable Dde moiety. Dde Biotin Azide Plus was designed with a copper-chelating system within its structure, enabling the formation of strong, active copper complexes that act as both reactant and catalyst in CuAAC reactions. The Dde moiety can be cleaved under mild conditions (2% aqueous hydrazine) to release the biotin tag and any avidin conjugate bound to it.

PEG3-(Amino-Tri-(Propargyl-PEG2-ethoxymethyl)-methane)-(Amino-Tri-(carboxyethoxymethyl)-methane) is reactive with azide-bearing compounds or biomolecules via copper catalyzed azide-alkyne Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage. The terminal carboxylic acid groups can react with primary amino groups in the presence of activators (e.g. HATU) to form a stable amide bond.
