Interleukin-3 (IL-3) is a cytokine produced by activated T cells and mast cells. IL-3 is able to induce the differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells to precursor cells of myeloid lineage (erythrocytes, megakaryocytes, granulocytes, dendritic cells and monocytes). IL-3 also has functions in the nervous system and appears to be important in several chronic inflammatory diseases. Recombinant mouse IL-3 is a non-glycosylated protein, containing 135 amino acids, with a molecular weight of 15.1 kDa.

Interleukin-4 (IL-4) is an immuno-modulatory cytokine, produced primarily by a subgroup of helper T cells, known as Th2. IL-4 is known to induce naïve helper T cells to differentiate to Th2 cells, which subsequently produce more IL-4. Th2 cells regulate a wide variety of other immune cells including, B cells, where it has the ability to promote IgG to IgE isotype switching. Recombinant mouse IL-4 is a non-glycosylated protein, containing 121 amino acids, with a molecular weight of 13.5 kDa.

Interleukin 7 (IL-7) is a hematopoietic cytokine that is constitutively produced by stromal cells from the bone marrow and thymus. IL-7 signals through the IL-7R to promote the differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells to lymphoid precursor cells, which give rise to T cells, B cell s, and natural killer cells. Human and mouse IL-7 show species cross-reactivity. Recombinant mouse IL-7 is a non-glycosylated protein, containing 172 amino acids, with a molecular weight of 17.4 kDa.

Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor-A (VEGF-A) was originally isolated from tumor cells and is produced by a wide variety of cell types. In addition to stimulating vascular growth and vascular permeability, VEGF-A may play a role in stimulating vasodilation via nitric oxide-dependent pathways. VEGF-A has several variants, VEGF-165 being the most abundant. Rat and bovine VEGF are one amino acid shorter than the human factor, and the bovine and human sequences show a homology of 95%. Recombinant mouse VEGF-165 is a non-glycosylated, disulfide-linked homodimer, containing 165 amino acids, with a molecular weight of 39 kDa.

Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3-beta (CCL 19, of the intercrine beta chemokine CC family) is an important secreted chemoattractant for dendritic cells, antigen-engaged B-cells, and effector-memory T-cells, signaling through the CCR7 receptor. It may play a role in promoting encounters between recirculating T-cells and dendritic cells and in the migration of activated B-cells into the T-zone of secondary lymphoid tissues. MIP-3ß specifically binds to chemokine receptor CCR7. MIP-3ß is strongly chemotactic for naive CD4 T-cells and for CD8 T-cells and weakly attractive for resting B-cells and memory CD4 T-cells. There is significant expression in dendritic cells in mesenteric and peripheral lymph nodes, and in spleen (T-cell zone or periarteriolar lymphatic sheath) and Peyer patches, but low expression in thymus. Recombinant mouse MIP-3-beta is a polypeptide chain consisting of 83 amino acids with a molecular weight of 9,200 Daltons.
