In a recent study, Percival and co have developed a novel technique utilizing the natural transparency of zebrafish embryos, allowing to observe chromosome dynamics within a single cell during mitosis in a live vertebrate embryo. They used a Genetex p53 antibody to demonstrate that the genomic instability leads to p53-dependent neural tube apoptosis.
Zebrafish has emerged as an outstanding model organism for biomedical research. As the leading manufacturer of zebrafish antibodies, GeneTex offers an extensive portfolio of reagents validated for use in this model system. These antibodies have been tested on zebrafish samples in a variety of applications including, but not limited to, immunofluorescence microscopy, immunohistochemistry microscopy, and western blot.
