DBCO-PEG12-TFP ester acts as a bifunctional PEG linker with a DBCO group that can be used for copper-free Click Chemistry reactions and TFP ester, which is less susceptible to undergo hydrolysis compared to NHS ester. The solubility of the compound in aqueous media is elevated via the PEG linkage.
