Recombinant human ALK2 (Activin receptor-like kinase 2) encompassing amino acids 147-509 (end) and containing the clinically relevant mutation R206H. In this construct the N-terminal end of ALK2 is fused with GST. A short peptide linker placed between GST and PARP7 includes a thrombin site to facilitate removal of the GST portion. The recombinant protein was affinity purified.
