β-CGRP, human acetate (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282TP2167). β-CGRP, human acetate is one of calcitonin peptides and acts via the complex of receptor-activity-modifying protein (RAMP) and calcitonin-receptor-like receptor (CRLR) (IC50s: 1 nM and 300 nM for CRLR/RAMP1 and CRLR/RAMP2 in cells).

3X (DYKDDDDK) Peptide (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282TP2174). The DYKDDDDK-tag system utilizes a short, hydrophilic 8- amino-acid peptide that is fused to the protein of interest1. The DYKDDDDK peptide binds to the antibody M1. To improve the detection of the DYKDDDDK tag the 3x (DYKDDDDK) system has been developed. This three tandem DYKDDDDK epitope is hydrophilic, 22-amino-acids long, and can detect up to 10 fmol of the expressed fusion protein. The DYKDDDDK-tagged maltodextrin-binding protein of Pyrococcus furiosus has been crystallized4 and the quality of the crystals was very similar to that of crystals of untagged protein.

amyloid A protein fragment [Homo sapiens] (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282TP2176). Amyloid A proteins (H2N-Ala-Gly-Leu-Pro-Glu-Lys-Tyr-OH) are a family of apolipoproteins associated with high-density lipoprotein in plasma. Different isoforms of SAA are expressed constitutively at different levels or in response to inflammatory stimuli. Serum amyloid A (SAA) is also an acute-phase marker that responds rapidly. Like CRP, levels of acute-phase SAA increase within hours after an inflammatory stimulus, but the magnitude of the increase may be greater than that of CRP. Relatively trivial inflammatory stimuli can lead to SAA responses. It has been suggested that SAA levels correlate better with disease activity in early inflammatory joint disease than do ESR and CRP levels. Although SAA is largely produced by hepatocytes, more recent studies show that SAA is also produced by adipocytes and that its serum concentration is associated with body mass index [3].

Amyloid Precursor C-Terminal Peptide (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282TP2177). Amyloid precursor c-terminal peptide has the amino acid sequence Gly-Tyr-Glu-Asn-Pro-Thr-Tyr-Lys-Phe-Phe-Glu-Gln-Met-Gln-Asn. APP is best known as the precursor molecule whose proteolysis generates beta-amyloid (Aβ), a 37 to 49 amino acid peptide whose amyloid fibrillar form is the primary component of amyloid plaques found in the brains of Alzheimer's disease patients. So it is a possible contributor to Alzheimer′s pathogenesis through MAPKs- and NF-κB-dependent astrocytosis.
