By utilizing our innovative and proprietary lipid conjugation technology, LipoD293™ (Ver. II) is specially designed and formulated by adding proprietary enhancers for transfecting HEK293 cells and other mammalian cells (Figure 1). As a 2nd generation liposome based DNA transfection reagent, LipoD293™ (Ver. II) offers extremely high transfection efficiencies for HEK293 related cells as well as many mammalian cells with less cytotoxicity. LipoD293™ reagent (Ver. II), upgraded from its previous version with refined chemistry, is 3~4 times more efficient in gene delivery. LipoD293™ reagent (Ver. II), 1.0 ml, is sufficient for ~666 transfections in 24 well plates or ~333 transfections in 6 well plates.
Cells adhere to one another and to the extracellular matrix durinig normal physiology and development, but also in pathological conditions such as chronic inflammation and tumor metastasis. For example, during extravasation from blood vessels into the tissue space, leukocytes first weakly adhere to and roll upon vascular endothelial cells via cell surface receptors known as selectins. Subsequent, stronger adhesion ensues using other receptors and ligands, such as LFA-1 and ICAM-1. Transendothelial migration follows, where the leukocytes squeeze between the tight endothelial cell junctions. As a final impediment to entering the tissue space, the leukocytes encounter the basement membrane, a mixture of extracellular components that ensheathes the vessel. The leukocytes utilize still other receptors to bind ECM, and also secrete matrix-degrading enzymes to facilitate their passage.
CAI media are tested for sterility in order to confirm no bacteria, yeast or fungi contaminate the solutions. The products undergo further quality control for correct pH, osmolality and lack of endotoxins. A panel of different bioassays affirm the media sustain a proper environment for expected cell-type-specific culture, growth, plating, karyotype, physiology, morphology, viability, population doublings, surface markers, cryopreservation, differentiation and/or induction. Laboratory research use only (RUO). Not for human, clinical, diagnostic or veterinary use.

Based on our proprietary polymer synthesis technology, PolyJet™ DNA In Vitro Transfection Reagent is formulated as a biodegradable polymer based DNA transfection reagent that ensures effective and reproducible transfection on HEK293, COS-7, NIH-3T3, HeLa, CHO and a broad ranges of hard-to-transfect mammalian cells. The PolyJet™ reagent is able to immobilize DNA migration during electrophoresis at very low concentration and form the transfection complex within 5 minutes at RT. A remarkable feature of the reagent is the rapid and complete degradation of polymer after transfection complex endocytosis (Figure 1), leading to much less cytotoxicity. PolyJet™ reagent, 1.0 ml, is sufficient for ~667 transfections in 24 well plates or ~333 transfections in 6 well plates, providing a very affordable alternative to the leading products for transfecting a variety of commonly used and hard-to-transfect mammalian cells.
