Chicken whole blood is aseptically collected and prepared to order from our colony of animals. These cell suspensions are useful for the titration of complement, adsorption procedures, testing for agglutinins/HA assays, and for the preparation of stroma as particulate reagents. Chicken red blood cells are perishable and are collected and processed upon receipt of your order.
Sheep whole blood is washed to remove the platelet rich plasma, buffy coat layer, and leukocytes (WBC). Red blood cells are supplied as a 10 percent suspension in phosphate buffered saline (PBS). Sheep red blood cells are useful for the titration of complement, adsorption procedures, testing for agglutinins/HA assays, and for the preparation of stroma as particulate reagents. Sheep red blood cells are perishable and are collected and processed upon receipt of your order.
Horse Serum is used as a component to bioassays, immunoassays, or enzyme assays. Horse Serum provides a broad spectrum of macromolecules, carrier proteins for lipoid substances and trace elements, attachment and spreading factors, low molecular weight nutrients, and hormones and growth factors that promote cell growth and health. Be certain to maintain Good Cell Culture Practice, and maintain sterility of cultures that require media supplementation.
Normal Mouse Serum (NMS) is the component of blood that does not contain erythrocytes or leukocytes nor clotting factors. All other non-clotting proteins remain in the serum making it a useful reagent for blocking of blots or wells. Normal Mouse Serum is non-sterile and not ammenable to cell culture.
Normal Rabbit Serum (NRS) is the component of blood that does not contain erythrocytes or leukocytes nor clotting factors. All other non-clotting proteins remain in the serum making it a useful reagent for blocking of blots or wells. Normal Rabbit Serum is non-sterile and not ammenable to cell culture.
