Pyridoxine (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282T0973). Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) is the 4-methanol form of vitamin B6 and is converted to pyridoxal 5-phosphate in the body. Although pyridoxine and vitamin B6 are still frequently used as synonyms, especially by medical researchers, this practice is erroneous and sometimes misleading.
Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282T0973L). Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) is the 4-methanol form of vitaminB6 which is converted to pyridoxal phosphate which is a coenzyme for synthesis of amino acids, neurotransmitters (serotonin, norepinephrine), sphingolipids, aminolevulinic acid.
Propoxur (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282T0976). Propoxur (Propoxure) is an insecticide used to control cockroaches, flies, mosquitoes, and lawn and turf insects. Acute (short-term) exposure of humans to propoxur by ingestion leads to cholinesterase inhibition of red blood cells, with mild cholinergic symptoms including blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, sweating, and tachycardia; however, the effects are transient. Chronic (long-term) inhalation exposure has resulted in depressed cholinesterase levels, headaches, vomiting, and nausea in humans. Chronic ingestion studies in animals have reported depressed cholinesterase levels, depressed body weight, effects to the liver and bladder, and a slight increase in neuropathy. No information is available on the reproductive, developmental, or carcinogenic effects of propoxur in humans. Mixed results are available from cancer studies of propoxur in animals. EPA has not classified propoxur for carcinogenicity.
Medrysone (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282T0977). Medrysone (6α-Methyl-11β-hydroxyprogesterone) is a topical, synthetic glucocorticoid with metabolic, anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties. Medrysone exerts its effect by interacting with specific intracellular glucocorticoid receptors and subsequently binds to DNA to modify gene expression. This results in an induction of the synthesis of certain anti-inflammatory proteins while inhibiting the synthesis of certain inflammatory mediators. Consequently, an overall reduction in chronic inflammation and autoimmune reactions is accomplished.
Pantethine (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282T0978). Pantethine (Pantomin) (Bis-pantethine) is a dimeric form of vitamin B5. Pantethine is less stable than pantothenic acid and tends to decompose over time if it is not kept refrigerated, so most vitamin B5 supplements are in the form of calcium pantothenate. It is available as a dietary supplement and is used to treat acne and improve the blood-cholesterol profile.
