SPY620-BG is the benzylguanine derivative of SPY620 fluorophore. It emits light in the red part of the UV-ViS spectrum, it is fluorogenic, highly cell permeable and well suited for STED and SIM superresolution imaging. SPY620-BG can be imaged with e.g. using 610/20 nm and 650/40 nm excitation and emission filters respectively. It can be used for widefield, confocal, SIM or STED imaging in living or fixed cells and tissue. It has the same structure as MaP618-SNAP the name used in its original publication in Nature Chemistry. Benzylguanine (BG) is the substrate of the self labeling tag SNAP-tag™*. Upon reaction with a BG derivative, SNAP-tag™* forms a covalent bond with the substrate and releases guanine. It allows to permanently attach a fluorescent label to any protein of interest (POI) expressed as SNAP-tag™* fusion. *SNAP-tag™ is a registered trademarks of New England Biolabs, Inc.

SPY650-tubulin is a bright, far-red & non toxic live cell microtubule stain based on SPY™ dyes series. Its optimized structure allows quick labeling of microtubules in live cells with high specificity and very low background. SPY650-tubulin stains microtubules in live cells without the need for genetic manipulation or overexpression of fluorescent proteins. Its absorbance and emission spectra are similar to Cy5. SPY650-tubulin enables multicolor imaging with SPY505, SPY555, SPY595, SPY700, GFP or m-cherry. SPY650-tubulin can be imaged with standard Cy5 filtersets. It can be used for widefield, confocal, SIM or STED imaging in living cells and tissue.

SiR650-BG is the benzylguanine derivative of the SiR fluorophore. It emits light in the far-red, it is fluorogenic, highly cell permeable and well suited for STED and SIM superresolution imaging. SiR650-BG can be imaged with a standard Cy5 filterset. It can be used for widefield, confocal, SIM or STED imaging in living or fixed cells and tissue. It has the same structure as SNAP-Cell®* 647-SiR and also identical to SiR-SNAP, the name used in its original publication in Nature Chemistry. *SNAP-tag™ and SNAP-Cell® are registered trademarks of New England Biolabs, Inc.

SPY700-DNA is a bright far-red & non toxic live cell nuclear stain based on SPY™ dyes series. Its optimized structure allows quick labeling of DNA in live & fixed cells with high specificity and very low background. SPY700-DNA stains the nuclei of live or fixed cells without the need for genetic manipulation or overexpression of fluorescent proteins. Its absorbance and emission are similar to Cy5.5. SPY700-DNA enables multicolor imaging with SPY505, SPY555, SPY595, SPY650, SiR, GFP and mcherry. SPY700-DNA can be imaged with Cy5 filtersets but using a 700 nm LP emission filter is best. It can be used for widefield, confocal, SIM or STED imaging in living or fixed cells and tissue.

SiR700-BG is the benzylguanine derivative of SiR700 fluorophore. It emits light in the far-red, it is fluorogenic, highly cell permeable and well suited for STED and SIM superresolution imaging. SiR700-BG can be imaged with a standard Cy5 filterset but using a 700 nm LP emission filter yields better results. It can be used for widefield, confocal, SIM or STED imaging in living or fixed cells and tissue. It is identical to SiR700-BG, used in its original publication in JACS.

      • Sulfo ChromaLINK Biotin (Water Soluble), 5 x 1 mg, contains a UV-traceable chromophore that enables reproducibility in the biotinylation process. Measure degree of biotinylation in minutes without the standard curves needed for HABA/avidin and fluoro-reporter assays. With a non-destructive UV scan, quantify biotin incorporation and ensure reproducible production of consistent batches. This reagent is water soluble; no DMF or other organic solvent is needed to dissolve compound prior to labeling.
