NPP (p-Nitrophenyl phosphate) is a colorimetric substrate for alkaline phosphatase (AP) in ELISA, producing a yellow product that is measurable at 405 nm. It is chosen for its suitability in applications requiring a quantitative readout of enzyme activity.

NPP Buffer (1x Working Buffer) is required with the use of NPP (50X) ELISA Alkaline Phosphatase Substrate a chromogenic substrate utilized in immunosorbent assays. Phosphatase-conjugated detection antibodies can act upon the pNPP to convert it to a yellow para-nitrophenol. This yellow product can be measured on a spectrophotometer at 405nm.

Enhanced Chemiluminescence (ECL) involves the enzymatic oxidation of luminol, a process that is catalyzed by peroxidase (HRP) enzyme. In the presence of HRP and a peroxide, luminol is oxidized, and emits light. The intensity of the emitted light is proportional to the amount of HRP-bound target, allowing for the quantitative detection of proteins.

X-Gal (5-Bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl β-D-galactopyranoside) is a chromogenic substrate for the β-galactosidase enzyme, commonly used in molecular biology for blue-white screening of recombinant bacterial colonies and other reporter assays. When hydrolyzed by β-galactosidase, X-Gal produces an insoluble blue precipitate.

5x concentrated reaction buffer for use with SMARCA Remodeling Enzymes (EpiCypher 15-1014 and 15-1015). Optimized for use with SMARCA Remodeling Enzyme, produced in SF9 cells. SMARCA is an ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling complex that regulates nucleosome spacing.

10X CMF-HBSS Concentrate, 1 bottle, 500 ml. Sterile calcium- and magnesium-free hank's Balanced Salt Solution (CMF-HBSS). The solution is used for washing and perfusing the liver prior to the addition of the dissociating enzyme solution. Store at 2-8°C.
