N4-Acetyl-2'-Deoxycytidine is a nucleoside analogue that acts as an inhibitor of DNA synthesis. It blocks the conversion of ribonucleotides to deoxyribonucleotidesbinds by binding to the active site of the enzyme ribonucleotide reductase. This leads to cell death by preventing DNA synthesis and replication. Reagent grade, for research use only.
5'-O-DMT-Thymidine is a key deoxynucleoside building block that is protected with a dimethoxytrityl group in the 5'-O position of the deoxyribose moiety, leaving the 3'-hydroxyl free for modification. 5'-O-DMT-Thymidine can be used a starting point for nucleotide synthesis. Reagent grade, for research use only.
