BAY-850 is a chemical probe for the bromine domain of Atad2A. It replaces acetylated H4 peptides from the bromine domain of Atad2. AY-850 shows superior selectivity to all other bromine domains (not hit in 10 μm Bromoscan). Full-length ATAD2 was replaced from chromatin in living cells at a concentration of 1 μm determined by FRAP.
Bongkrekic acid (Bongkrekic Acid (ammonium salt)) is a mitochondrial toxin secreted by Burkholderia gladioli that inhibits adenine nucleotide translocase (ANT).Bongkrekic acid Bongkrekic acid Bongkrekic acid induces extracellular traps in neutrophils through signaling mediated by p38, ERK, PAD4, and P2X1.
Methylchloroisothiazolinone/methylisothiazolinone mixture (MCIT/MIT) is a mixture of isothiazolinone-derived biocides.1,2It is effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria with MIC values of 0.0002, 0.0002, 0.00005, and 0.00005% (w/w) forS. aureus,P. aeruginosa,A. niger, andC. albicans, respectively.2MCIT/MIT can elicit contact sensitization.3Formulations containing MCIT/MIT have been used for controlling microbial growth in industrial and household products.
