BP Fluor 350 DBCO reacts with azides via a copper-free “click chemistry” reaction to form a stable triazole and does not require Cu-catalyst or elevated temperatures. In application where the presence of copper is a concern BP Fluor 350 DBCO is an ideal alternative to copper requiring fluorescent alkynes. BP Fluor 350 is a water-soluble moderately photostable, blue-fluorescent probe optimally excited by the 350 nm laser line. It is routinely used for generation of stable signal in imaging and flow cytometry. The brightness and photostability of blue dyes are best suited to direct imaging of high-abundance targets.

BP Fluor 532 DBCO is an azide reactive probe that can be used for imaging azide-tagged biomolecules via a copper-free “click reaction”. DBCO moiety reacts with azides to form a stable triazole and does not require Cu-catalyst or elevated temperatures. In application where the presence of copper is a concern BP Fluor 532 DBCO is an ideal alternative to copper requiring fluorescent alkynes.

BP Fluor 555 DBCO is a water-soluble, bright orange-fluorescent dye with excitation ideally suited for the 532 nm or 555 nm laser lines and visualized with TRITC (tetramethylrhodamine) filter sets. BP Fluor 555 is structurally similar to Alexa Fluor® 555, and spectrally is almost identical to Cy3 Dye, Alexa Fluor® 555, CF® 555 Dye, or any other Cyanine3 based fluorescent dyes.

BP Fluor 633 DBCO is a bright and photostable far-red fluorescent probe with excitation ideally suited to the 633 nm or 635 nm laser excitation source. BP Fluor 633 DBCO is water-soluble, pH-insensitive from pH 4 to pH 10. BP Fluor 633 spectrally is almost identical to Alexa Fluor® 633, DyLight® 633 and CF® 633 Dye. Combination of superior brightness and very low autofluorescence background signal in most biological samples in far-red spectral region allows for very sensitive detection of azide-labeled biomolecules via copper-free click reaction using BP Fluor 633 DBCO.

BP Fluor 680 is a bright and photostable near-IR dye that is spectrally identical to Alexa Fluor® 680, IRDye® 680RD and Cy5.5. BP Fluor 680 is often used for small animal imaging applications in the 700 nm wavelength and provides excellent clearance profiles in animals. Flow cytometry is another common application for this dye. BP Fluor 680 ideally suited for the 633 nm laser line. This near-IR fluorescent dye is water soluble and pH-insensitive from pH 4 to pH 10. The long wavelength emission allows for detection in complex samples with auto-fluorescent background signals.

Cy7 DBCO is a bright and photostable near-IR probe that spectrally similar to Alexa Fluor® 750, DyLight® 750, and IRDye® 750 dye. The Cy7 DBCO is water-soluble, hydrophilic dye often a reagent of choice for assay where minimal non-specific binding and exceptional brightness is required. The fluorescence of Cy7 DBCO is pH insensitive from pH 4 to pH 10 and produces minimal autofluorescence of biological specimens in this region of the spectrum. Fluorescence of this long-wavelength Cyanine dye is not visible to the human eye but is readily detected by most imaging systems.

MB 660R is a bright and photostable far-red dye that emits fluorescence at about 685 nm in the borderline spectral region between far-red and near-IR. Although the absorption maximum is at around 665 nm, this dye can be sufficiently excited by the 633 or 635 nm laser. MB 660R dye is water soluble and pH-insensitive from pH 4 to pH 10. MB 660R is a rhodamine-based dye, and like rhodamine dyes in general, it is very bright and exceptionally photostable (Figure 1). The superior photostability and excellent brightness of MB 660R makes this dye an ideal choice for confocal microscopy single molecule imaging and other applications that demand both brightness and photostability.
