Automated Dissection Chip - 5 Pack

Automated Dissection Chip (AD-Chip) enables yeast cell trapping and culturing. One chip can trap over 10,000 single yeast cells. It allows yeast cells to bud and images are taken to observe the process. As the trapped yeast cells are cultivated and aged with a continuous flow of fresh media, daughter cells that budded from the trapped cells are removed automatically by the media flow throughout the entire lifespan of the trapped mother cells. The AD-Chip, made of biocompatible thermoplastic PMMA, PDMS, and glass, has 75 mm in length and 25 mm in width, corresponding to the standard size of a microscope slide.
