Tebubio is proud to support the role of women in the world of scientific research by joining forces with the Femmes & Sciences association.
Tebubio is embarking on the final stage of a global programme to transform its premises. In the summer of 2024, Tebubio's French office was given a facelift, resulting in a number of improvements for both team members and the environment. One of the initiatives undertaken by Tebubio has been to offer its office furniture, particularly to its team members.
Convinced of the importance of the role of women in the scientific sector, Tebubio has chosen to donate the funds raised to the Femmes & Sciences association. Founded in 2000, Femmes & Sciences aims to promote and develop scientific and technical careers among girls and young women. Tebubio shares this desire to honour women, who make up more than 65% of its employees.
“Tebubio is proud to support the Femmes&Sciences association to help encourage young girls and women to take up scientific careers. For example, we help young women to develop their skills in our company through apprenticeships, internships or by hiring them once they have graduated”, says Donald van Dijk, CEO of Tebubio. “We are an association made of a large majority of volunteers, and we work hard every day to highlight the role of women in science, particularly by giving talks in schools, universities and companies. We would like to thank Tebubio for supporting us in this endeavour,” says Françoise Conan, President of the Femmes & Sciences association.
To highlight the role of women in scientific research, the meeting rooms in all Tebubio offices located across Europe have been renamed after Nobel Prize-winning women scientists such as Rita LeviMontalcini, Tu Youyou and Marie Curie.
