Water-soluble, substrate for sortase mediated labeling of proteins. Sortase catalyzes a transpeptidase reaction between a specific internal sequence of a protein and an amine group present on the N-terminus of triglycine recently has become an area of great interest. This method of labeling proteins has been denoted as “Sortagging”. BP Fluor 647 Gly-Gly-Gly is a water-soluble, pH-insensitive from pH 4 to pH 10, far-red-fluorescent probe. Its excitation ideally suited for the 633 nm or 647 nm laser lines. BP Fluor 647 is structurally similar to Alexa Fluor® 647, and spectrally is almost identical to Cy5 Dye, Alexa Fluor® 647, CF® 647 Dye, or any other Cyanine5 based fluorescent dyes.

BP Fluor 680 is often used for small animal imaging applications in the 700 nm wavelength and provides excellent clearance profiles in animals. Flow cytometry is another common application for this dye. BP Fluor 680 ideally suited for the 633 nm laser line.

The Cy7 DBCO is water-soluble, hydrophilic dye often a reagent of choice for assay where minimal non-specific binding and exceptional brightness is required. The fluorescence of Cy7 DBCO is pH insensitive from pH 4 to pH 10 and produces minimal autofluorescence of biological specimens in this region of the spectrum. Fluorescence of this long-wavelength Cyanine dye is not visible to the human eye but is readily detected by most imaging systems.

BP Fluor 405 is a water-soluble, pH-insensitive from pH 4 to pH 10, blue-fluorescent probe with excitation ideally suited for the 407 nm spectral line of the krypton laser or the 408 nm violet laser diode. BP Fluor 405 is often used in multicolor applications, including flow cytometry and super-resolution microscopy using STORM.
