Recombinant Human sIL-6 Receptor alpha (CHO derived) (Legacy Tebubio ref. 167200-06RC). IL-6 mediates its biological effects through the type I IL-6 receptor system that consists of two chains, IL-6Ralpha and gp130. While the IL-6Ralpha chain is the binding component specific to IL-6, the gp130 chain only transmits signals of IL-6 when bound to IL-6Ralpha. The gp130 can also transmit signals from LIF, OSM, CNTF, IL-11 and CT-1 in conjunction with other receptor subunits. The low-affinity binding site for IL-6 is composed of IL-6Ralpha alone. IL-6Ralpha is expressed in a wide range of cells, including T cells, fibroblasts and macrophages. Soluble IL-6Ralpha, which consists of only the extracellular domain of the IL-6Ralpha chain, acts as an agonist of IL-6 activity at low concentrations. PeproTech's CHO cell-derived Recombinant Human sIL-6 Receptor alpha is a 37.9 kDa glycoprotein corresponding to 339 amino acid residues of the extracellular domain of IL-6Ralpha. As a result of gly

Recombinant Human IL-7 (Legacy Tebubio ref. 167200-07). IL-7 is a hematopoietic growth factor that primarily affects early B and T cells. Produced by thymic stromal cells, spleen cells and keratinocytes, IL-7 can also co-stimulate the proliferation of mature T cells in combination with other factors, such as ConA and IL-2. Human and murine IL-7 are cross-species reactive. Recombinant Human IL-7 is a 17.5 kDa protein containing 153 amino acid residues.

Recombinant Human IL-12 p70 (CHO derived) (Legacy Tebubio ref. 167200-12). IL-12 is a potent regulator of cell-mediated immune responses and it induces IFN-gamma production by NK and T cells. It is produced by activated monocytes/macrophage cells, B lymphocytes and connective tissue-type mast cells. Among its biological activities, IL-12 promotes the growth and activity of activated NK, CD4+ and CD8+ cells, and induces the development of IFN-gamma-producing Th1 cells. Recombinant Human IL-12 is a 75.0 kDa heterodimeric glycoprotein consisting of disulfide-linked 35 kDa (p35) and 40 kDa (p40) subunits (503 total amino acid residues).

Recombinant Human sIL-12 Receptor beta-1 Fc (Legacy Tebubio ref. 167200-12RB-1). The IL‐12 structurally related family of heterodimeric proteins plays an important role in activating, regulating, and modulating the immune response. This family of proteins transmits its activity through receptors, which, when stimulated by ligand binding, generally activate JAK proteins that subsequently phosphorylate STAT transcription factors. IL‐12R beta‐1 is a single pass membrane protein expressed on T cells, B cells, and NK cells. By itself, IL‐12R beta‐1 binds to IL‐12 with low affinity, but when paired with IL‐12R beta‐2, forms a high affinity IL‐12 receptor. IL‐12R beta‐1 can also pair with IL‐23R to form a high affinity receptor for IL‐23. Recombinant Human sIL‐12 Receptor beta‐1 Fc has a calculated molecular weight of 84.3 kDa and contains 758 amino acid residues, which consists of the extracellular domain of IL‐12R beta‐1 fused to the Fc portion of human IgG and contains a C‐terminal His‐tag
