LV-EF1a-Mito-GFP-IRES-Puro is a pre-made lentivirus which expresses Mito-EGFP under the EF1a promoter with the co-expression of the Puro resistance marker via the IRES element. The mitochondrial targeting sequence from subunit VIII of human cytochrome C oxidase (Mito) is fused with EGFP. The Mito sequence is fused to the 5'-end of EGFP, The Mito sequence targets the Mito-EGFP fusion protein to the host cell’s mitochondria.

The Myc Luciferase Reporter Lentiviruses are replication incompetent, HIV-based, VSV-G pseudotyped lentiviral particles that are ready to transduce almost all types of mammalian cells, including primary and non-dividing cells. The particles contain a firefly luciferase gene driven by the Myc response element located upstream of the minimal TATA promoter (Figure 1) and an antibiotic selection gene (puromycin) for the selection of stable clones. After transduction, the Myc signaling pathway in the target cells can be monitored by measuring the luciferase activity.

Renilla Luciferase-eGFP Lentivirus are replication incompetent, HIV-based, VSV-G pseudotyped lentiviral particles that are ready to transduce almost all types of mammalian cells, including primary and non-dividing cells. The particles contain Renilla Luciferase and eGFP (green fluorescent protein) (RLuc-P2A-eGFP) driven by an EF1A promoter. The lentiviruses also transduce a puromycin or hygromycin selection marker. The Renilla luciferase and eGFP proteins are under the EF1A promoter and are co-expressed in transduced cells, allowing greater flexibility of detection of the transduced cells.

Nuclear eGFP Lentivirus are replication incompetent, HIV based, VSV-G pseudotyped lentiviral particles that are ready to transduce almost all types of mammalian cells, including primary and non-dividing cells. These particles contain a nuclear eGFP (enhanced green fluorescent protein), with nuclear localization sequences (NLS) at both N and C-terminus of eGFP), under the control of an EF1a promoter. The lentiviruses also transduce a puromycin selection marker. eGFP expression and transduction efficiency can easily be verified and optimized via fluorescence microscopy or flow cytometry. eGFP has an excitation wavelength of 488 nm, an emission wavelength of 509 nm, with an extinction coefficient of 55,000 M-1cm-1.
