Measure diacylglycerol (DAG) signaling kinetics, screen GPCRs for Gq activity, and more with this live cell fluorescent assay. Add the DAG sensor to your cells and measure robust signals after 30 hours on an automated plate reader or fluorescence imaging system. Decreasing red fluorescence indicates DAG increase. These assays are genetically encoded and packaged in BacMam for efficient transduction in most cell types - including uniform and near 100% efficiency in HEK293 cells as well as expression in many primary or iPSC-derived cells. The kit includes the DAG sensor BacMam, 500mM sodium butyrate in H2O, and a positive control receptor and agonist (hM1R BacMam and 25mM carbachol in H2O). 10mL and 60mL sizes are available as well. Increase in fluorescence indicates increase in cAMP production. cADDis is genetically-encoded and packaged in a BacMam viral vector for easy transduction into a wide variety of cell types, including primary and iPSC-derived cell lines. The fatty acid analog included in this kit is taken up into cells via fatty acid transporters. The kit enables analysis of the fatty acid uptake ability of cells using fluorescence imaging, microplate measurement, and flow cytometry. In addition, a reagent that eliminates the fluorescence of any extracellular fatty acid analog is included, so it is possible to easily measure the actual fatty acid uptake capability even if washing the cells is difficult.

Dojindo's MDA (malondialdehyde) Assay Kit uses the TBARS method to detect MDA by measuring the fluorescence or absorbance of the adduct of MDA and thiobarbituric acid that develops color according to the amount of MDA. The kit also contains MDA standard solution, which can be used to prepare a standard curve and quantify the MDA concentration in the sample.
