SiR-CA is the ChloroAlkane (CA) derivative of our SiR fluorophore. It emits light in the far red part of the UV-ViS spectrum, it is fluorogenic, highly cell permeable and well suited for STED and SIM superresolution imaging. SiR-CA can be imaged with a standard Cy5 filterset. It can be used for widefield, confocal, SIM or STED imaging in living or fixed cells and tissue. It has the same structure as SiR-Halo, the name used in its original publication in Nature Chemistry. ChloroAlkane (CA) is the substrate of the self labeling tag Halo-tag™*. Upon reaction with a CA derivative, Halo-tag™* forms a covalent bond with the substrate. It allows to permanently attach a fluorescent label to any protein of interest (POI) expressed as Halo-tag™* fusion. SPY650-golgi is a bright, far red & non toxic live cell golgi probe based on our SPY™ dyes series. Its optimized structure allows quick labeling of the golgi apparatus in live cells with high specificity and low background. SPY650-golgi stains the golgi apparatus in live cells without the need for genetic manipulation or overexpression of fluorescent proteins. Its absorbance and emission spectra are similar to Cy5. SPY650-golgi enables multicolor imaging with SPY505, SPY555, SPY595, SPY700, GFP or m-cherry. SPY650-golgi can be imaged with standard Cy5 filtersets. BP Fluor 800 Picolyl Azide is a conceptually new class of sterically shielded NIR cyanine heptamethine dye with emission wavelengths >740 nm. This dye contains two shielding PEG arms directly over both faces of the heptamethine fluorochrome blocking any undesired bimolecular association processes, resulting in a significant increase in fluorescence brightness. BP Fluor 800 Picolyl Azide reacts with the alkyne group in antibody, proteins, peptides, amino-modified oligos, and other target molecules. It is specially to be used to detect low abundance targets. Compared with conventional azides, picolyl azide will allow to use at least 10 fold less copper catalyst to yield the same click reaction rate as regular azide one, because picolyl moiety can chelate Cu to raise the effective concentration of Cu(I) at the reaction site. ATTO488-Charybdotoxin is a fluorescent version of Charybdotoxin. Charybdotoxin (ChTx) is a 37 amino acid peptide isolated from the venom of the scorpion Leiurus quinquestriatus hebraeus that blocks voltage-gated and large conductance Ca2+ activated K+ channels KCa1.1 in nanomolar concentrations (IC50~ 3 nM). This blockade causes hyperexcitability of the nervous system. The toxin reversibly blocks channel activity by interacting at the external pore of the channel protein with an apparent Kd of 2.1 nM.
