Actin_TestKit combines our 3 live cell actin probes SiR-actin, SPY650-FastAct and SPY650-FastAct_X, offering a wide flexibility for actin imaging in live and fixed cells. All the probes are bright, emitting in the far red, fluorogenic, STED compatible and cell permeable. Their complementary properties ensure using the best performing probe under your experimental conditions. Kit contains 3 separate tubes for each actin probe (ca. 20 stainings/tube)

SPY650-FastAct_X (Also known as SiR-XActin) is our most advanced live cell actin imaging probe. It labels highly dynamic actin filaments as well as the more static ones. SPY650-FastAct_X is a bright, fluorogenic, non toxic, cell permeable and highly specific live cell probe for fluorescence imaging of actin. SPY650-FastAct_X can label highly dynamic cellular actin structures but lacks undesired F-actin stabilization and toxic side effects. It does not require any transfection and works just by adding the probe to the cells and perform imaging a couple of hours later. Product contains 1 vial of SPY650-FastAct_X in lyophilised form allowing to prepare 50 ul of 1000x DMSO stock solution (100 stainings)

SPY555-FastAct_X is a bright, far red, fluorogenic & non toxic F-actin stain based on our SPY™ dyes series. SPY555-FastAct_X’s carefully optimized actin ligand allows to label Factin in live cells with very high specificity. SPY555-FastAct_X can label very fast actin dynamics but lacks undesired F-actin stabilization side effect. The probe does not require any genetic manipulation, transfection or overexpression of fluorescent proteins. SPY555-FastAct_X is based on a low phototoxicity, bright & highly photostable SPY555 fluorophore which is far superior than fluorescent proteins. SPY555-FastAct_X enables multicolor imaging with SPY505, SPY595, PY620, SPY650, SPY700, GFP or mcherry. SPY555-FastAct_X can be imaged with standard Cy3filterset. It can be used for widefield, confocal, SIM or STED imaging of living cells and tissue. Contains 1 vial of SPY555-FastAct_X (lyophilized)
