A triacylglyceride analog featuring two 15-methyl palmitic acid tails and one unsaturaed linoleic acid tail. Introduction of the iso- methyl branched fatty acids has been carefully desgined to investigate the effect on self-assembly properties, solubilization of other lipids, and membrane fluidity. Reagent grade, for research purpose. Please contact us for GMP-grade.

A cyclopropane fatty acid naturally found in bacterial cell membranes, seed oils, fermented foods, and dairy products. Studies suggest cyclopropane fatty acids are versatile cell membrane components that regulate membrane fluidity in response to environmental changes in pH and temperature (J. Phys. Chem. B 2015, 119, 17, 5487–5495) . Please contact us for the custom synthesis of any other cyclopropane fatty acids. Reagent grade, for research purpose. Please contact us for GMP-grade .

PC Mal-PEG4-NHS carbonate ester represents a photocleavable linker with a terminal maleimide that can react with thiol or cysteine to generate a thiosuccinimide molecule which is commonly used for bioconjugation. NHS carbonate ester labels the primary amines (-NH2) of proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides, and other amine-containing molecules. The PEG spacer imparts hydrophilicity. This structure allows for efficient photorelease of linked molecules, typically achieving over 90% cleavage in 5-25 minutes using a near-UV lamp.

Mal-PEG4-Val-Cit-PAB-MMAF functions as a linker-payload construct with a thiol-specific maleimide which is used to label cysteine residues in proteins and an enzymatically cleavable Val-Cit site. The Val-Cit will specifically be cleaved by Cathepsin B. MMAF is a synthetic antineoplastic agent that may be employed as a cytotoxic payload. Solubility in aqueous media is enhanced via the PEG chain.
