5'-O-DMTr-5-iodo-2'-dU-3'-CED is a synthetic nucleoside phosphoramidite utilized to integrate iodo-modified deoxyuridine within an oligonucleotide, either internally or at the 5' end.

14-(Amide-PEG4-ethylcarbamoyl)tridecanoic t-butyl ester has an amine group on a PEG linker with a alkane tail that has a t-butyl ester group. The amine group is reactive with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, carbonyls (ketone, aldehyde) etc. The t-butyl group can be deprotected under acidic conditions. This compound may also be used as a building block for lipids in nanotechnolgy and drug delivery. Reagent grade, for research purpose.

VIC is an asymmetrical xanthene dye (two flanking rings are not the same). This dye is used for the design of qPCR probes. The spectral properties of VIC are similar to HEX and JOE.

DusQ 1 is a fluorescence quencher with the most effective absorption in the range of 480–580 nm, the maximum absorption is at 534 nm.
