Fluorescein-PEG5-Methyltetrazine is a xanthene dye with excitation/emission maximum of 494/517 nm and a terminal tetrazine group. The terminal methyltetrazine enables fast click reactions with TCO (trans-cycloctene). Hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media and reduces steric hindrance during binding. Reagent grade, for research use only. Please contact us for GMP-grade inquiries.

Phosphatidylethanol (16:0 LysoPEth) is formed primarily in the liver by transphosphatidylation of phosphatidylcholine (PC) by phospholipase D in the presence of ethanol. PEth is a long-lived circulating ethanol biomarker with forensic and biomedical applications. LysoPEth is formed either through loss of the sn-1 acyl chain or transphosphatidylation of LysoPC. It is also reported to be a biomarker of alcohol consumption.
