pGlu(7.5K)-PEG(5K)-pGlu(7.5K) is an amphiphile block polymer comprised of PEG and synthetic polyamino acid having one COOH function per glutamic acid unit and a terminal azide group on either end of the molecule. pGlu is soluble in water(alkaline solution), dichloroacetic acid, chloroform, DMF(warm), dioxane, and acetic acid. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. The terminal azide group can react with alkyne, BCN, DBCO via Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage.

PLLA-acid, MW 2,000 is a monofunctional amphiphilic poly(L-Lactide) polymer with a terminal carboxylic acid. The biodegradable polymer can form micelles in water and can be used for drug encapsulation in drug delivery. The carboxyl (COOH) is reactive to amine in the presence of activating agent, such as HATU/EDC to form a stable amide bond. Reagent grade, for research purpose. Please contact us for GMP-grade inquiries.
