1-β-D-Glucosylsphingadienine (d18:2 (4E,8E)) (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282T38213). 1-β-D-Glucosylsphingadienine is a glucosylsphingosine, which are deacetylated lysolipid derivatives of glucosylcerebrosides . They are formed when sphingosines undergo glucosidation by UDP-glucose. Glucosylsphingosines completely reduce neurite outgrowth and induce death of LA-N-2 cells at concentrations of 10 and 50 μM, respectively. They also decrease the activity of glucocerebrosidase in LA-N-2 cells in a dose-dependent manner. Glucosylsphingosine levels are elevated in patients with Gaucher's disease, both in the spleen (in types 1, 2, and 3) and brain (type 2 and 3); thus, glucosylsphingosine has been used as a key biomarker of the disease. This product contains 1-β-D-glucosylsphingadienine isolated from plants.

1-Deoxysphingosine (m18:1(4E)) (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282T38214). 1-Deoxysphingosine (m18:1(4E)) is an atypical sphingolipid that contains a double bond at the 4E native position and is formed when serine palmitoyltransferase condenses palmitoyl-CoA with alanine instead of serine during sphingolipid synthesis.1,2 Plasma levels of 1-deoxysphingosine (m18:1(4E)) are increased in patients with chronic idiopathic axonal neuropathy (CIAP) and diabetic distal symmetrical polyneuropathy (DSPN).3

1-Hydroxy-ibuprofen (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282T38215). 1-Hydroxy Ibuprofen, a metabolite of Ibuprofen in P. australis[1], functions as an anti-inflammatory inhibitor specifically targeting COX-1 and COX-2, with inhibitory concentration 50 (IC50) values of 13 μM and 370 μM, respectively[1].

1-Palmitoyl-2-Oleoyl-3-Arachidonoyl-rac-glycerol (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282T38216). 1-Palmitoyl-2-oleoyl-3-arachidonoyl-rac-glycerol is a triacylglycerol that contains palmitic acid , oleic acid , and arachidonic acid at the sn-1, sn-2, and sn-3 positions, respectively. It has been found in lipid extracts from whole rat retina.1

1-Stearoyl-2-Adrenoyl-sn-glycero-3-PE (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282T38217). 1-Stearoyl-2-adrenoyl-sn-glycero-3-PE is a phospholipid containing stearic acid and adrenic acid at the sn-1 and sn-2 positions, respectively. Levels of 1-Stearoyl-2-adrenoyl-sn-glycero-3-PE are inversely correlated with subject age in mitochondria isolated from human post-mortem hippocampus [1].

1-Stearoyl-2-docosahexaenoyl-sn-glycero-3-PC (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282T38218). 1-Stearoyl-2-docosahexaenoyl-sn-glycero-3-PC is a phospholipid in biological membranes containing stearic acid and docosahexaenoic acid at the sn-1 and sn-2 positions, respectively. It has been used to study the organization and dynamics of lipid membranes. In the superoxide dismutase 1 mutant transgenic mouse model of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) 1-Stearoyl-2-docosahexaenoyl-sn-glycero-3-PC levels decrease in the anterior horn of L5 in late stages of the disease.1-Stearoyl-2-docosahexaenoyl-sn-glycero-3-PC can be used to study biological membranes.

11-cis Retinal (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282T38219). 11-cis Retinal is a chromophore that binds to opsin in the mammalian visual system as an inverse agonist forming the inactive conformation of rhodopsin. When 11-cis retinal absorbs a photon of light, it isomerizes to form all-trans retinal beginning the phototransduction cycle, which is the basis for mammalian vision. A G121L mutation in opsin allows 11-cis retinal to bind as a partial agonist and activate rhodopsin in the absence of light. In a moth model of carotenoid deficiency-induced low visual sensitivity, 11-cis retinal application to compound eyes restored visual sensitivity almost completely.

Bellidifolin (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282T3822). Bellidifolin (Bellidifoline) has anti-oxidation, hepatoprotective, anti-inflammatory and antitumor actions, it may contribute to the protective effects associated with nerve injury initiated by hypoxia by mechanisms related to inhibition of cell apoptosis independent of the ERK pathway. Bellidifolin shows interesting inhibitory activity of monoamine oxidases (MAO) A, it could be useful for treating type-2 diabetes, likely via the improvement of insulin resistance (IR). Bellidifolin also shows an antifungal effect (MIC values of 50 microg/mL).

11-cis Retinol (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282T38220). 11-cisRetinol is an isomer of vitamin A . It is formed from vitamin A,viaatrans-retinyl ester intermediate, by the enzyme RPE65 in the retinal pigment epithelium and then converted to 11-cis retinal as part of the visual cycle.1,211-cisRetinol is an agonist of salamander and human red rod opsins expressed in COS cells and an inverse agonist of salamander red cone opsin, as well as human red and green cone opsins expressed in COS cells.3It promotes pigment formation in cone, but not rod, photoreceptors.
