Collinin (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282T38330). Collinin is a coumarin that has been found in Z. schinifolium and has diverse biological activities.1,2,3,4 It is active against drug-susceptible and -resistant strains of M. tuberculosis (MIC50s = 3.13-6.25 μg/ml).1 Collinin inhibits LPS-induced nitric oxide (NO) production (IC50 = 5.9 μM) and reduces COX-2 protein levels in RAW 264.7 cells.2 It completely inhibits aggregation of isolated rabbit platelets induced by arachidonic acid , collagen, or platelet activating factor (PAF) when used at a concentration of 100 μM.3 Dietary administration of collinin (0.05% w/w) reduces the number of mice with tumors and the number of tumors per mouse in a mouse model of colitis-related carcinogenesis.4

Commendamide (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282T38331). Commendamide is a natural bacterial product that was discovered in a screen for commensal bacteria effector genes (Cbegs). Cbeg12 is a bacterial effector gene that encodes for its production. Commendamide is structurally similar to long-chain N-acyl-amides, which commonly signal, in mammals, through G protein-coupled receptors. Commendamide activates GPR132 (also known as G2A) with an EC50 value of 11.8 μM.

Corynecin I (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282T38333). Corynecin I is a chloramphenicol-like antibiotic originally isolated from Corynebacterium. It is active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria with MIC values of 5.2-83 μg/ml for S. sonnei, P. vulgaris, K. pneumoniae, and S. aureus among others.
Corynecin III (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282T38334). Corynecin III is a chloramphenicol-like antibiotic originally isolated from Corynebacterium. It inhibits the growth of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including S. faecalis, S. aureus, B. subtilis, E. coli, P. aeruginosa, P. vulgaris, S. sonnei, S. typhosa, and K. pneumoniae (MICs = 2.6-83 μg/ml).

W140 (trifluoroacetate salt) (Legacy Tebubio ref. 282T38336). Sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) is a bioactive lipid that exhibits a broad spectrum of biological activities including cell proliferation, survival, migration, cytoskeletal organization, and morphogenesis. It exerts its activity by binding to five distinct G protein-coupled receptors, S1P1/EDG-1, S1P2/EDG-5, S1P3/EDG-3, S1P4/EDG-6, and S1P5/EDG-8. W140 is an inactive enantiomer of W146, a selective S1P1 antagonist (Ki = 77 nM), that binds to the S1P1 receptor with a Ki of 4.6 μM (2a = W146; 2b = W140 in supplemental material). It exhibits no biological activity in vivo and can therefore serve as an effective control compound for experiments involving W146.
