Recombinant Murine Eotaxin-2 (CCL24) (Legacy Tebubio ref. 167250-22). Eotaxin-2 is a CC chemokine that signals through the CCR3 receptor. It is produced by activated monocytes and T lymphocytes. Eotaxin-2 selectively chemoattracts cells expressing CCR3, including eosinophils, basophils, Th2 T cells, mast cells, and certain subsets of dendritic cells. Additionally, Eotaxin-2 inhibits the proliferation of multipotential hematopoietic progenitor cells. The mature protein, which also includes a C-terminal truncation, contains 78 amino acid residues (92 amino acid residues for the murine homolog, without C-terminal truncation). Eotaxin-2 contains the four conserved cysteine residues present in CC chemokines. Recombinant Murine Eotaxin-2 is a 10.3 kDa protein containing 93 amino acid residues.

Recombinant Murine MDC (CCL22) (Legacy Tebubio ref. 167250-23). MDC is a CC chemokine that is produced in B cells, macrophages, monocyte-derived dendritic cells, activated NK cells and CD4 T cells. It signals through the CCR4 receptor. MDC chemoattracts monocytes, dendritic cells and NK cells, and exerts HIV-suppressive activity. The 67 amino acid form of MDC displays reduced chemoattractant activity, but retains HIV-suppressive activity. Recombinant Murine MDC is a 7.8 kDa protein containing 68 amino acid residues including the four highly conserved cysteine residues present in the CC chemokines.

Recombinant Murine BCA-1/BLC (CXCL13) (Legacy Tebubio ref. 167250-24). BCA-1/BLC, a CXC chemokine, is expressed in the liver, spleen, lymph nodes, appendix and stomach. It exerts its activities through its only receptor, CXCR5. BCA-1/BLC is a potent chemoattractant for B lymphocytes, and induces weak chemotactic response in T cells and macrophages. It manifests no activity on neutrophils and monocytes. Recombinant Murine BLC is a 9.8 kDa protein containing 88 amino acid residues including the four highly conserved cysteine residues present in CXC chemokines.

Recombinant Murine Cardiotrophin-1 (Legacy Tebubio ref. 167250-25). CT-1 is a member of the IL-6 family of cytokines which also includes LIF, CNTF, OSM (Oncostatin M), IL-11, IL-6 and possibly NNT-1/BSF-3. CT-1 is a pleiotropic cytokine which is expressed in various tissues including the adult heart, skeletal muscle, ovary, colon, prostate and fetal lung, and signals through the LIF receptor and the gp130 receptor subunit. CT-1 has the ability to induce cardiac myocyte hypertrophy, and enhances the survival of cardiomyocyte and different neuronal populations. Recombinant Murine Cardiotrophin-1 is a 21.3 kDa protein consisting of 202 amino acid residues.

Recombinant Murine Neuropoietin (Legacy Tebubio ref. 167250-25B). Neuropoietin is a newly identified member of the IL-6 cytokine family. Members of this family, including IL-6, IL-11, oncostatin M, leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF), cardiotrophin-1 (CT-1), cardiotrophin-like cytokine, and CNTF, display a four-helix bundle structure, and signal through gp130-containing receptor complexes. Neuropoietin, which is predominantly expressed in neuroepithelia during embryonic life, acts through a receptor complex formed of a CNTF receptor-alpha component, gp 130, and LIF receptor. Like CNTF, it promotes the survival of embryonic motor neurons, and could increase the proliferation of neural precursor cells in the presence of EGF and FGF-2. Interestingly, the human neuropoietin gene has evolved toward a pseudogene, suggesting that alternative signaling via CNTF is an effective compensatory pathway. Recombinant Murine Neuropoietin is a 19.8 kDa protein containing 183 amino acid residues.
