Recombinant Human Oncostatin M (196 a.a.) (Legacy Tebubio ref. 167300-10H). Oncostatin M (OSM) is a growth and differentiation factor that participates in the regulation of neurogenesis, osteogenesis and hematopoiesis. Produced by activated T cells, monocytes and Kaposi's sarcoma cells, OSM can exert both stimulatory and inhibitory effects on cell proliferation. It stimulates the proliferation of fibroblasts, smooth muscle cells and Kaposi's sarcoma cells, but inhibits the growth of some normal and tumor cell lines. It also promotes cytokine release (e.g. IL-6, GM-CSF and G-CSF) from endothelial cells, and enhances the expression of low-density lipoprotein receptors in hepatoma cells. OSM shares several structural and functional characteristics with LIF, IL-6, and CNTF. Human OSM is active on murine cells. The human OSM gene encodes for a 252 amino acid polypeptide, containing 25 amino acid signal sequence for secretion and a 227 precursor protein. Proteolytic processing of this precur

Recombinant Human GRO-alpha/MGSA (CXCL1) (Legacy Tebubio ref. 167300-11). All three isoforms of GRO are CXC chemokines that can signal through the CXCR1 or CXCR2 receptors. The GRO proteins chemoattract and activate neutrophils and basophils. GRO/MGSA also stimulates mitogenesis in certain human melanoma cells. Recombinant Human GRO-alpha/MGSA is a 7.8 kDa protein consisting of 73 amino acids, including the 'ELR' motif common to the CXC chemokine family that binds to CXCR1 or CXCR2.

Recombinant Human IP-10 (CXCL10) (Legacy Tebubio ref. 167300-12). IP-10 is a CXC chemokine that signals through the CXCR3 receptor. IP-10 selectively chemoattracts Th1 lymphocytes and monocytes, and inhibits cytokine-stimulated hematopoietic progenitor cell proliferation. Additionally, it is angiostatic and mitogenic for vascular smooth muscle cells. Recombinant Human IP-10 is an 8.6 kDa protein consisting of 77 amino acids, including the four conserved cysteine residues present in CXC chemokines.
