      The PLPro (Papain-Like Protease) substrate is a small 5-mer fluorogenic peptide (Z- RLRGG-AMC) used to measure the activity of SARS family PLPro proteases. Release of the C-terminal AMC dye (7-amido-4-methylcoumarin ) by proteolysis generates fluorescence, which can be monitored at an excitation wavelength of 345 nm and an emission wavelength of 445 nm.
